Goats are a type of domesticated mammal, belonging to the animal kingdom, known for their characteristic horns and beard. They are part of the bovidae family, closely related to sheep, and fall under the larger category of mammals. Contrary to the term 'Carnivorous Mammals', goats are primarily herbivores, feeding on grass, leaves, shrubs, and other plant material. Despite this, their broad diet has led to the misconception of goats being omnivorous, but they are not carnivorous.
