Developmental Psychology is a scientific study of human growth and development across the lifespan, including but not limited to physical, cognitive, social, intellectual, perceptual, personality, and emotional growth. It encompasses the understanding of changes experienced by individuals from infancy through adolescence to adulthood, and into old age. This field of psychology focuses on the various stages of life and how people's behaviors, thoughts, and feelings change during different age groups.
