A field of study that analyzes the effects of geography (both human and physical) on politics and international relations. It involves the practice of examining political patterns, comparing and contrasting the spatial relationships, and studying different locales and places. It also encompasses the use of cartography, or map-making, as a tool to visualize these relationships and locations. Additionally, it incorporates the tracking and monitoring of movements and activities across the globe, referred to as geotrackables.
